Dear MYS Families and Friends,

      This past year has been a financial struggle for everyone. Foundation and corporate support for non-profits are at their lowest levels in decades – and MYS has felt the pinch. Although we continue to appeal to these funding sources, we must also turn to you – our dedicated supporters.

      As we stand at a critical juncture in our 36 year history, our Board of Directors and staff are working diligently and creatively to reduce costs without sacrificing the quality of education, our concert programming or our dedication to enrolling any motivated student regardless of their financial means.

      But reducing costs is not enough.  We must raise more money to ensure we achieve our mission to develop, educate and promote young musicians.  Will you please join us by making the most generous gift you can todaytowards our goal of raising $50,000 in this year’s Annual Fund? 

      Together we can invest to keep music education in our children’s future and to provide the joy of music to all.
