Summer Program 2008MYS and the Marylhurst Summer Festival Orchestra. Lajos Balogh,Conductor.
This will be a combined group of MYS Vivaldi, Concert Band, Concert Orchestra, Symphonic Band and
Symphony Orchestra players who want to sharpen their skills over the summer. 
Please arrive early the first night so we can hand out music. The eight sessions will conclude with outdoor concerts/picnics. Tuition: There is no charge to returning MYS musicians or musicians who have paid their audition free and have scheduled an audition for the 2007-08 season. Please send in the application form
prior to the first rehearsal.
$40.00 for non MYS players. Begins on Thursday, July 17 from 7-9 PM at Marylhurst University. All rehearsals will be on Thursdays except in August. Rehearsals in August will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays totaling 7 summer rehearsals. The summer concert will be on Saturday, August 16 at 6:00 PM on the back lawn at Marylhurst. The two Tuesday night rehearsals will take place at Riverdale Elementary school in Portland, just north of Lake Oswego. Please sign up now in the Beaumont lobby. There is no charge for MYS musicians or new musicians who auditioned in June.
